Technical features
All components which are important for
transmitting the chucking force are hardened and ground.
Reversible top jaws hardened and ground.
Scroll drop-forged and balanced, thread flanks ground on both
sides-made from 20 Mn Cr 5 hardened to 45° HRC.
Jaws made from case hardened alloy steel. Thread flanks of
base hard jaws hardened and precisely ground to the accuracy
of pitch.
Pinion made from case hardened nickel chromium alloy steel
Hardened to 45°HRC. All bearing parts ground to finest limits.
Pinion and operating screws recessed in to the chuck body to
reduce the risk of accidents. Chucks bodies made out of
special cast iron Jaw guides hardened and ground 180 210 Bhn. |
